The Fostering Service in Middlesbrough has an exciting opportunity to recruit new social workers on a fixed term basis.
Social workers within the fostering service have the responsibility of assessing, supporting and supervising foster carers. As part of this we work closely with social workers for our children who are Looked After. Along with our colleagues, we have a responsibility for securing permanence for children with plans of adoptions, long term fostering and special guardianship. They work closely with partners as corporate parents to support children to develop their life skills, achieve to their full potential and work towards their aspirations.
