A full time vacancy of Assistant Team Manager in the Middlesbrough Multi-Agency Children’s Hub (front door team) has arisen, representing Early Help within Children Services. The team is looking for an experienced worker who will be co-located with our strategic partners including Police, Health, CAMHS, Education and other vital partners all working together to keep children safe.
The MACH is a fast paced environment, you will have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and direct experience of working with children and families.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-agency team; screening Early Help referrals using the Threshold of Needs, discussing referrals with colleagues, partner agencies and families to be able to offer the right service at the right time for Children, Young People and their family to prevent escalation to specialist services and promote the resilience of families.
The role also includes participating in Strategies to consider the needs of children and young people, collating and presenting evidence of what Early Help has been undertaken with families and the impact of early help services. This role will be part of the decision making process of whether children and young people should be escalated to specialist services or who could support the family instead to meet their particular needs.
The benefits of working for Middlesbrough Council are flexible hours and being able to purchase additional annual leave.
