We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work within the Tees Community Equipment Service The main part of the role involves driving a van to Service Users homes throughout Teesside to deliver, install and collect disability equipment.
We need people who are flexible and enjoy variety in their work as the role will also involve warehousing duties and the repairing and cleaning of the equipment to ensure it is safe to be issued and installed into someone’s home. Driving a large vehicle, warehousing experience and having DIY skills would be useful but not essential as full training will be given
This equipment we provide helps a person live safely and independently at home and can be issued to when they are discharged from hospital.
We provide a wide range of equipment including walking frames, commodes, hoists, bath lifts, chairs, beds and mattresses. It is a challenging but vital role that can positively impact on a person’s quality of life at a time in their lives when they need it most.
The working hours are:
Monday 10am – 6pm
Tuesday 10am – 6pm
Wednesday 10:30am – 6pm
Thursday 10am – 6pm
Friday 10am – 6pm
