The Public Protection Service is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Environmental Health Officer to work as part of a multi-disciplinary service which includes Environmental Health, Environmental Protection and Housing, Trading Standards and Public Health.
The post is based in the Environmental Health Team which focuses on Food Safety, Food Standards, Workplace Health and Safety, Public Health and Infectious Disease Control, and the registration and inspection of cosmetic treatments.
Applications are invited from candidates with a Degree or Masters in Environmental Health, ideally with at least 2 years experience working in an Environmental Health role and achievement of professional registration (Grade L). However, applications from recently qualified candidates will also be welcomed (Grade J).
