We are looking for an experienced forward thinking and highly motivated candidate to lead an effective partnership between legal, children’s services and the Courts.
The preferred candidate will have extensive knowledge and application of both the Public Law Outline and the conduct of Court Cases, along with specialist knowledge of social work practice.
These skills will transfer to improving the legal and social work practice regarding court proceedings by way of overseeing the progress of pre proceedings cases to identify and take action to deal with any potential or actual exceptions that might jeopardise the safety of children, ensuring the effective progression of care proceedings across Children’s Social Care and timely outcomes for children, particularly in respect of permanence.
