We are looking for a confident and passionate individual to help us tell Middlesbrough’s story.
We need someone who is comfortable with words, video and social media. You must also be ready to experiment with new formats.
We will expect you to be creative and bold as you contribute to a publishing plan that demonstrates how Middlesbrough Council is delivering for residents and businesses.
You will need to collaborate with teams across the Council as we focus on our Strategic Plan. The plan outlines the things that matter most and what we will deliver for Middlesbrough.
Your work will see you out and about as we look to provide regular updates on our progress. You will also contribute to long-term campaigns.
You will have contact with our elected politicians, key partners from around the town and local and national media.
It’s fair to say that your days at work will often be interrupted by the unexpected. You will need to be flexible in rearranging your priorities in line with the most pressing matters of the day. You will have experience of working under pressure and at speed. We’ve got a lot for you to get your teeth into.
