The post of Outreach Practitioner is based with the Inclusion and Outreach Team, working primarily with children who are in Secondary and Post 16 education. The past year has been a difficult one for everyone, but children and young people have been particularly impacted by the pandemic, experiencing a great deal of disruption to their education.
We have an opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic person who has suitable experience and wants to work with young people to help raise their aspirations and support them to achieve the very best outcomes.
The role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to work within a highly motivated, and knowledgeable team and to provide complementary value to the support already provided for young people. The successful applicant will have experience of working with young people of school age to make certain that they reach their full potential.Excellent interpersonal skills will be required to be able to successfully negotiate with a variety of people. The ability to be able to solve problems and plan and organise workload effectively will also be essential in this challenging role.
