Background
The DfE have invested over £84 million over five years to support up to twenty Local Authorities to improve their work with families and safely reduce the number of children entering care.
Middlesbrough is one of the local authorities who will be benefitting, by working with North Yorkshire to implement its No Wrong Door Model, under the name Futures for Families.
The Futures for Families team will provide a rapid response to children and families in crisis, enabling them to address and overcome the difficulties that have led to the family being at risk of breakdown, and prevent further escalation and referral to care proceedings.
Working as a Residential & EOC Worker you will need to have relevant experience and a professional approach to carrying out all aspects of this role.

You will also need to be able to work unsocial hours i.e. early mornings, weekend’s sleep-ins, night shift as well as school holidays, evenings and Bank holidays. Additional allowances will be paid for sleeping in (£81 per sleep in) and Sunday working.
