A full time position within Highways Infrastructure and Fleet has arisen to assist the Service Manager in ensuring that the Council meets all of its statutory infrastructure asset management requirements.
The successful candidates will be expected to:
Undertake data collection and condition assessments.
Process data information and update inventories.
Collect and maintain records, manage data and performance information, ensure accurate data entry into the street works management system and associated software.
Monitor performance for compliance with statutory and external agencies on the service standards of the authority.
Compile and provide reports for the Service Delivery Manager.
Attend site meetings if required.
Assist in preparing works packages and programmes for maintaining the highway infrastructure.
Deal with requests received for licensing works or events in or on the highway, in accordance with the Highways Act 1980.
Liaison with other Council departments and external organisations as appropriate.
Dealing with written, telephone and email requests, queries and complaints received from elected members, external bodies and members of the public.
