Middlesbrough is looking for an additional Social Work Manager to lead and deliver our Assisted and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) Programme to newly qualified children's social workers. We have a proven track record of supporting and investing in our NQSW's at the start of their social work career and throughout their social work journey to enable them toprogress their career goals within Middlesbrough. To do this we have invested in our workforce and have a number of learning and professional development initiatives and therefore require an additional manager to support with the implementation of this.
The post holder will work within the Principal Social Worker's service area to continually develop the quality of practice across Children's services.
You will be passionate about ensuring and sustaininga dynamic and creative workforce that continually seeks to ensure our childrenare safe and reach their full potential.
Applicants must have:
DipSW or equivalent professional Social work qualification
Extensive relevant experience in children and families work
Practice teaching qualification and experience of supervising staff
