We are seeking to recruit an Occupational Therapist, who is highly motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our rotational programme working in a variety of service areas across the Integrated Occupational Therapy Service.
Applicants must be able to work as part of a team and on your own, frequently using your own initiative.
You will often work with a wide multidisciplinary team and be involved with clients with a range of multiple medical, social and emotional problems.
Continuing professional development is actively encouraged and regular support and supervision will be provided by a Senior Occupational Therapist within the team.
Participation in service developments and clinical governance is also expected, for which there is excellent support throughout the Integrated Occupational Therapy Service to help you develop.
The role will include working in a variety of service areas across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire.
The post may involve working in a hospital or community setting and will include carrying out assessments with patients in their own homes, therefore having access to transport is essential.
The successful candidate must have current HCPC registration.
