Middlesbrough Council is seeking a Records Manager to support its compliance with information and records best practice.
You will oversee the Council’s records from their creation and preservation through to disposal, ensuring that the approach taken is in line with the organisation’s digital and information strategies, and the implementation of Microsoft 365 and Sharepoint.
You will be supporting the Council through this process to ensure its data is protected through this transition period. You will also ensure compliance with the Council’s statutory duties in relation to FOI and EIR requests, Subject Access requests and requests to exercise other rights under GDPR.
Management of the Council’s approach to records management to ensure the council complies with its legal requirements in relation to information and records management will also be a part of this role.
