Reducing crime and antisocial behaviour is one of the Elected Mayor’s key priorities and we are looking for a Crime and Locality Working Analyst to work within the Community Safety Team to provide the analytical products that will inform the way we deploy resources. This is a very exciting time to be joining the team and the successful applicant will have a real opportunity to make a difference to the way the service is delivered.
The post holder will support the work of the Stronger Communities Teams as well as Middlesbrough Community Safety Partnership. This post will involve the collation, analysis and reporting of information that is relevant to monitoring levels of crime and antisocial behaviour across the Borough. You will be working within a multi-agency environment, and we would like to hear from you if you have experience of working in a data sensitive area.
To be successful in this post you must have excellent communication skills and have experience in maintaining and developing both statistical and quantitative data. This post will contribute to the overall Partnership aim to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour across Middlesbrough.
This post will be subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring (DBS) screening as well as none police personnel vetting.
