Hours: 37 hours a week working a flexible rota to meet the needs of families and young people on the edge of care.

Do you want to make a difference to the lives of Middlesbrough children? We have an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make that difference for a child.
Do you have experience of working with young people in a community-based setting, hospital based setting or residential setting? If you do and can be flexible to meet the complex needs of young people, then this could be the role for you. We are looking for Family Resource workers, Edge of Care workers, residential workers and those workers who have experience of working with young people in various settings at home and across communities.
We want to add to the experienced staff that we currently have working on the edge of care, that work with children who may need focused intervention to keep them at home with their families and potentially staying in the community with young people. Workers need to be flexible and committed to supporting and achieving positive outcomes for children. Those with experience of working with teenagers are positively encouraged to apply

You will also need to be able to work unsocial hours i.e. early mornings, weekend’s sleep-ins, night shift as well as school holidays, evenings and bank holidays. Additional allowances will be paid for sleeping in, currently £81 per night plus 9%.
