We are currently recruiting for a SEND Review Team Manager who is committed to, and passionate about, improving outcomes for children and young people.
As the Review Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading the co-ordination and delivery of the SEND statutory EHCP review process and ensuring compliance with regulation, to secure the best outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
You will be responsible for the day to day leadership and management of a team of SEND Officers and support staff working on the annual review of Education, Health and Care Plans.
At Middlesbrough Council, the SEND Team is part of the wider Inclusion and Specialist Support Service (ISSS), which consists of a range of teams which work closely together to support children and young people with SEND, their school settings and their families.
Following a strategic Service review, a local area inspection of SEND and a successful re-visit, Middlesbrough is implementing some key changes to the support and range of provision available for children, young people, and families in the area.
These are all outlined in our Local Area SEND Strategy which sets out the development work that is required locally to continually drive forward improvements in Middlesbrough.
