We are looking to recruit 3 posts within the Family Group Conference Team (FGC). The co-ordinator will undertake a range of tasks and will be responsible for the delivery of Family Group Conference.
The post holder will be expected to facilitate a process whereby the family group are empowered and given responsibility for coming up with ideas to address professional concerns relating to their child who is deemed to be in need of care and protection.
To organise and promote Family Group Conference (FGC) and produce a family plan to support and ensure the safety and wellbeing of the child /young person.
The post holder will support families, some of your responsibilities will include supporting higher management. This will include providing a flexible approach to families and working outside of normal working hours at times should the service requireThis is a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated and passionate team that will deliver interventions, which bring together families, members of the community and Family Group Conference Co-ordinator.
The post holder will empower families to share their views in achieving a positive outcome for the children and families we work with. Some of your responsibilities will include supporting higher management.
This will include:

You will need to be committed to improving outcomes for children and promote the child's wishes and feelings.
You will develop good joint working partnerships, with families, children and young people and their significant others, as well as undertaking effective joint
working within Social Care and with multi-agency partner agencies.
